A virtual gallery from all over the world

Open to your ideas

An image tells a thousand words...
To this end UNICRI is pleased to present the on-line gallery “Art to Fight Crime,” an exhibition intended to illustrate various cross-cultural representations and awareness campaigns targeting several types of crimes. Among the topics addressed, we find counterfeiting, human trafficking, money laundering, corruption, cybercrimes and environmental crimes.

UNICRI has chosen to promote this exhibition under the conviction that creativity can transform the minds of individuals and introduce different perspectives.
A message conveyed through images can produce an immediate impact. Each of us adopts culturally specific codes through which we interpret the world around us, but art and creativity in general can become the channels bridging people together.

We hope that this on-line exhibition will invite you to think about current issues that affect us all. Despite different ages, genders, ethnicities and cultures, images can reach us all and can become a precious tool to seek different approaches and to find common solutions. UNICRI has gathered images thanks to the generous pro bono contributions by various organizations to our art campaign. You are cordially invited to enter the “Art to Fight Crime” virtual gallery.

Have a look at the images and feel free to leave us a message telling us what you think about the initiative and the impressions you had in front of the posted material.

The gallery is also open to all of you: send us new material on relevant and associated issues,

we would be pleased to receive new inputs from you.
