The Institute is also supported by highly qualified experts, recruited to meet specific project requirements, and by officials seconded from other international organizations and Member States.

UNICRI includes representation from within the countries in which it operates when implementing new programmes.

Cooperation and information sharing, both within the UN system and externally, are fundamental to all aspects of UNICRI's work.
